There are many kinds of instruments. Instruments are used to play music. It takes lots of practice to play an instrument. Guitars (electric or not), pianos, and drums are cool instruments.

You can use guitars to play folk songs and electric guitar to play rock music.  Guitars have a long neck and 5 strings. You can strum the guitar strings to make sounds.

Piano is used to play, among other things, classical music. You can press the black and white keys on the piano to make sounds. You put the sounds together to make a song.

Drums are used for percussion and to keep the beat. To play it you use the stick to hit the different drum sets at different speeds and you set the rhythm.

Pianos, guitars, and drums are fun to play. If some people take music lessons to learn how to play, other people learn by themselves.
